Pacific Dry Goods – the industry leader in 100% natural viscose products for the home – has added the EcoTowl Bamboo™ to its acclaimed green kitchen products line, which debuted last year with the EcoTowl® and EcoSponge®.
Super-absorbent, machine-washable, and biodegradable, PDG’s Eco products represent a major breakthrough in reusable, Earth-friendly alternatives to expensive disposable wipes, petrochemical microfibers, and paper towels. Each product quickly absorbs over 10 times its weight in liquid, is easy to wring out, and works wet or dry. To clean, wash by hand or machine, then air dry or tumble dry with no heat. Or sanitize in a dishwasher or microwave. Cared for as directed, each product provides long lasting service without losing its strength or absorption power.
The new EcoTowl Bamboo is a natural fabric made from 82% bamboo fiber and 18% corn, both fast-growing and renewable resources. The production process, based in Germany, is a model of ecological management, winning the “Confidence in Textiles” certification from the International Oeko-Tex Association, which conducts independent research and testing of products for potentially harmful substances.
