PANDER BROS. to appear at WonderCon comic books expo

Known for their groundbreaking work as the illustrators of such comics series as Grendel, Triple-X, and Exquisite Corpse, Foggia PR client, the Pander Bros., will appear at WonderCon 2008 to sign copies of their latest graphic novel, ACCELERATE, and preview scenes from their newly-completed motion picture, Selfless.

Both Jacob and Arnold Pander will be available at the Shawdowline booth #AA22 on Friday, 2/22, at 1 pm – 3 pm and on Saturday, 2/23, at 1 pm – 2 pm. The occasion marks their first visit to Wonder Con in over five years.

The Pander Bros. helped forge the independent comics revolution with their high-style artwork that pushed the boundaries of the medium with the breakout hit Grendel: Devil’s Legacy.

They went on to push the comic book page to the extreme with Ginger Fox and Exquisite Corpse – the latter banned in several countries. Their passion for storytelling was evident in their epic political thriller, Triple X, and their celebrated body of multi-media work includes the urban guerilla tale, Secret Broadcast, with a soundtrack CD of dubbed out Electronica, and award-winning cult hit, The Operation. Jacob Pander has also directed a number of music videos that have appeared on MTV and short films that have played in film festivals around the country and abroad. They have just completed their first feature film, Selfless, directed by Jacob and produced by Arnold from their own screenplay. Selfless is a psychological thriller about an arrogant young architect forced to do the unthinkable after his identity is stolen by a random stranger he meets in an airport.
