Festival Opera’s 2008 Gala promises to be one of the year’s most entertaining benefit events. The evening will showcase the extraordinary talents of lyric-soprano Kristin Clayton and bass-baritone Bojan Knezevic, accompanied by pianist Ron Valentino. There will also be dancing until midnight to the Latin and swing rhythms of Steve Moon’s Luna Quartet. A live auction will hit the high notes with such items as subscriber seats at San Francisco Opera’s premiere of Amy Tan’s The Bonesetter’s Daughter, a signed limited edition lithograph of Alberto Vargas’ classic “Memories of Olive,” a helicopter ride with KGO Radio’s airborne traffic team, luxury accommodations at vacation hotspots, wines from private cellars and award-winning vineyards, fine jewelry and much more…
