Mark your calendar for one of the most exciting socialevents in memory! On Saturday, November 8, 2008, guests of the 18th California Symphony Ball will be transported into a wondrous Cirque Du Musique, featuring professional circus performers around the world. Just some of the colorful characters they will encounter at the black tie benefit will be stilt walkers, acrobatic dancers, mimes, a sword swallower, and a fire performer twirling a blazing 5-foot baton. All three floors of the elegant Blackhawk Museum in Danville will be draped in colorful flowing textiles and specially-lit to capture the whimsy and awe of the Cirque legacy.
